Re-reading “Bird by Bird” by Anne Lamott has been very enjoyable. It’s amazing how much of her advice I’ve made part of my own routine. It will be interesting to see how my students respond to her. Will she be relevant to them? Old fashioned?

It’s harder to write creative things on the left side of this notebook. The gutter sucks. Plus, the ink from my fountain pen really runs on this side. Is the paper coated only on the front of each page?
